Strategic Plan in 3 to 10 years
1) Long Term Strategic Vision
By 2011, we aim to further develop the current eight Chinese-focused multi-service community centres and expend CNSST to be an Asian-focused community service provider in NZ.
In 10 years time to 2020, we aim to create independent funding sources for core business activities and develop our Charitable Trust that offers comprehensive services to the Asian and wider community in NZ.
2) Medium Term Strategic Goals
Strategic Goal 1: To act as a bridge between the Asian and wider communities in order to facilitate
the successful integration of Asian new settlers so as to enable them to contribute sooner to NZ society.
Strategic Goal 2: To provide holistic social services and expend the services to the wider community
to meet the needs of both the Asian community and the local community as a whole.
Strategic Goal 3: To gain a win-win situation by engagement and collaboration with other sectors or
Asian groups in order to build up a solid and cohesive Asian community in the wider community.
Strategic Goal 4: To initiate social enterprise projects to generate the income to support our social
services, in order to ensure the permanent availability of our professional community-based services.
Strategic Goal 5: To continually develop and improve the quality of management and governance
system, in order to maintain the quality of services as a professional NGO in local community.
Strategic Goal 6: To use the social marketing approach to make positive promotion of our services
and programmes to build a solid reputation in both Asian and wider communities in order to increase
the awareness of CNSST to the broad community, so that our services could be of benefit to more clients. |
